Frequently asked questions
Count from the first “getting ready” moment you care about to the last moment you still want held — usually speeches or the first dances, not 1 a.m. on the dance floor. Most Australian Saturdays need 9–10 hours. Six hours fits a ceremony-to-early-reception day. Eleven or twelve hours is for long cultural days, two ceremonies, or split locations. If you write us the rough run sheet, we will tell you honestly if you are over- or under-buying.
If you can only choose one, choose photographs — they are what family print, frame, and send. If you can choose both, book them as one team. Two unrelated vendors on the same aisle often means stepped-on vows, mismatched colour, and a couple who can feel the tension. Photos hold the faces; film holds the voices. Together they are the day.
Yes. Melbourne and Victoria are home. We regularly work in Sydney and NSW, and in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. We come early and scout when we fly. Metro Melbourne travel is included; regional and interstate travel is written onto your plan before you pay a deposit — no surprise invoice after the first dance.
Yes. Large families, two ceremonies, long formal lists, and days that do not follow a “standard Saturday” template are regular work for us. Tell us the rituals that cannot be missed and the relatives who must be in the frame. We plan the clock around those, not around a Pinterest timeline. (We do not need to turn your reception into a production show to take it seriously.)
Wedding photography packages start at $3,450 for The Gathering (6 hours). The Day is $4,650 for 9 hours — the one most couples book. The Heirloom is $6,250 for 11 hours with two photographers. Engagement portraits are $650 for 1.5–2 hours. Prices are in Australian dollars and listed on the photography packages page.
