Sydney wedding photo locations we actually like

Sydney rewards patience more than a shot list. The Harbour is beautiful and crowded; the better frames are often a side street in The Rocks at 7 a.m., a quiet corner of the Royal Botanic Garden once the tour groups move, or late light in the Hunter the evening before. Chris & Tee Studios travels from Melbourne for Sydney weddings — we arrive early, we scout, and we do not treat the Opera House steps as a personality.

The Rocks and inner-city sandstone

Look for texture, shade and a little room to breathe. We plan around the ceremony and your people rather than dragging you across the city for a landmark.

Royal Botanic Garden and harbour light

Morning or late afternoon is kinder. We check access, crowds and the walk between portraits before we promise a location.

The Hunter and wider NSW

If your wedding is outside the city, we arrive early and scout. Light, travel time and a useful wet-weather option matter more than a list of famous views.
